Thank you for that video. I am not an artist but I am creative and what you explained in the video makes so much sense in everyday life. We all have inner expectations that enable us to do what we want in life, to follow our path or to express ourselves... It was really therapeutic.

On the prompt about art representing what you are capable of I saw a spiral moving from the perimeter inward and in the middle I saw you as a child holing the heart of your art.

In second exercise, as you were writing, I was getting the imago of a box and I wanted to help you find your way outside of the box!

Really liked watching you draw, I just wanted to say that your films have really inspired me to get out my stuff and start creating again, after a lot of years. Must be about ten years since I did anything last. Thank you so much! 😘💕

No because I struggle with this exact thing. Sometimes I fear sketching or ‘creating’ in general, as I’m always expecting perfection. But as a human, we’re all faulty, and knowing that I might make something ‘ugly’ or a mistake, makes me often scared to even create in the first place. As a result I sometimes don’t. This video was very helpful to learn how to let go, to just, not think so much. I think every artist should learn from this!

💐This gave me a huge courage to start any time. I always prepare my mind, my table etc for several days before start. Your session is encouraging. Also i can paint with my little son without he is telling me how i am good at painting and he doesn't need to draw himself. 🤭

the first one, even though it was ugly, it looked better before you smudged it all out into nothing… you have to know when to stop, (which is my problem too)

Thank you soo much for making this video. During this half hour, i only did the first part scrabble and i just that the vid kept playing. While listening to your voice and drawing those things, i felt peaceful and i can deeply felt and listened the voice in my mind. It’s really been a long time i took the color pencils again and drew like a child, feeling the color mixing together with others. ( sorry, english is not my first language, i tried my best to express my feelings) thank you again. Thanks god that i found this amazing video.

Thank you so much for this. Since I started studying, I felt too bound to rationality to complete any drawing. It's nice to not be expected to have Complete Thoughts materializing into art. There was a knot in my throat, as far as bodily sensations go. This exercise relieved it. ❤

To make a painting and not think about it or judge would be very difficult.mostly because to make art with no thought, you would have to be extremely sure of your skills. I am not at all sure and am still learning, so much of the time it's not fun, its really hard to paint without trying to use what info you have learned so far.

I just enjoyed scribbling like my two year old until there was basically no empty space 😅and then I doodled a cubed mug a face and other random objects.. thank you for posting and being here Marie - which is my daughters 2nd middle name ❤

CPTSD because of my ADD and Autism. The second undiagnosed until recently at 50… this was is really complex because are people deliberately abusing you or is it happening by nature of your neurotype not fitting the world and being repeatedly misunderstood.
